Before diving in, I want to preface by saying no two VAs are the same.
We all have tasks that we are more skilled in than others. Some VAs only work with certain types of businesses, like coaches, brick and mortar, healthcare professionals, etc. Others are generalist VAs who do a bit of everything. And some, like me, specialize in doing more of a certain type of task, like anything technology related stuff, but will also do more of the general type tasks, like email management.

This is certainly not an exhaustive list, but it should give you a good idea of some things you could consider handing off to someone else.
It’s a good idea if you’re thinking about hiring someone to spend some time generating your own list of tasks that you could potentially hand off. Consider tasks that are recurring and also one-off tasks. I bet you’ll be surprised you have more you can hand off than you think!
